Love was in the air throughout 2024!
While some of our favorite celebrity Black couples, like Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, Ciara and Russell Wilson, Steve and Marjorie Harvey, and Jay Z and Beyonce’s love remained strong, this was the year that other Black couples emerged and were placed on our radar, Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors. Although they began dating last year, the two solidified their partnership this year, ending with a flashy public engagement announcement at the Ebony 100 2024 Awards.
While we enjoyed the spicy date nights, romantic international trips, and baby announcements (we’re looking at you, Brittney Griner, and Charelle), we love it the most when love finally shows up, like Yvette Nicole Brown and Anthony Davis. The actress exclusively revealed to us her beautiful images from her nuptials and penned a poignant essay about how love was delayed for her, and it was never denied.
